The founder of the pan-African group Jeune Afrique, Bashir Ben Yahmed, died Sunday evening (May 2, 2021) at the age of 93. At the head of the Jeune Afrique group since its creation on October 17, 1960, B\u00e9chir Ben Yahmed was ephemeral minister of the first government of Habib Bourguiba, in 1953, barely 28 years old, before crossing the Mediterranean.
