In a press release on Tuesday April 27, the Qatari national airline said it offers three flights per week between its base in Doha-Hamad International and Abidjan-Houphou\u00ebt Boigny airport.<\/p>\n<p>Qatar Airways, he said, will operate in a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner that can accommodate up to 254 passengers, including 22 in business class and 232 economy. Departures are scheduled Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2.20 am to arrive at 9.10 am, return flights leaving C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire at 5.20 pm to land the next day at 6.10 am.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted to launch flights to Abidjan, our fourth new destination in Africa since the start of the pandemic. At Qatar Airways, we remain engaged in the African market, expanding our network across the continent and providing seamless connectivity to the largest network of destinations in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and North America. Qatar Airways Group Managing Director Akbar Al Baker said.<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cWe thank the government of C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire for supporting the launch of these flights, which provide an opportunity to reunite family and friends with loved ones around the world. We look forward to working closely with our partners in C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire to regularly develop this route and support the resumption of tourism and trade in the region \u201d.<\/p>\n<p>With this new route, the airline now operates more than 75 weekly flights to 24 African destinations instead of 23 previously.
