The Banque Populaire Foundation took part, on January 18, 2021 in partnership with the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) of Casablanca-Settat, in an operation to distribute digital tablets to some 350 students in disadvantaged neighborhoods of Casablanca.<\/p>\n

The ceremony took place in the premises of the AREF in Casablanca-Settat, in the presence of its Director, Mr. Abdelmoumen TALIB, and Ms. Asma Lebbar, President of the Banque Populaire Foundation.<\/p>\n

Under this partnership, the Banque Populaire Foundation donated digital tablets, which will allow students to continue their education, in particular through the TELmidTICE distance learning and support platform of the Ministry of National Education.<\/p>\n

“We are now happy and honored to be the partner of the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Casablanca-Settat region in the realization of<\/p>\n

this action aimed at enabling students to access online courses and thus facilitate access to education for all, a mission to which our institution attaches great importance \u201d, underlined Ms. Lebbar, President of the Banque Populaire Foundation, in<\/p>\n

his speech.<\/p>\n

This initiative, which comes in a context marked by the Covid 19 health crisis, is in addition to the many actions undertaken by the Banque Populaire Foundation in its mission to promote education and fight against dropping out of school.<\/p>\n

The Foundation participates in particular, in rural areas, in the rehabilitation of isolated schools, thus offering a better learning environment for students. It is also extending its missions to the Dour Tolabs in different regions of the Kingdom by equipping them with solar panels so that their residents can benefit from access to hot water, as well as computers allowing them to master the IT tool.<\/p>\n
