In a statement received by the press on Wednesday, 4 September, the operator said that this measure was taken for reasons of caution. &#8220;While we remain committed to providing uninterrupted service, the safety of our customers, our staff and our partners is our primary concern,&#8221; the document said.<\/p>\n<p>The South African group also said it is working hard with the relevant authorities and other stakeholders to stabilize the situation between Nigeria and South Africa. As a reminder, Nigeria is the largest MTN market with more than 60 million subscribers.
