More than ever, Africans want to share with the world another look at its realities, its diversity and its inestimable socio-cultural wealth … A story that must be told by Africans for the world, “shares Seynabou Dia, CEO of Global Mind Consulting. Gabon.

Moderated by Seynabou Dia, CEO of Global Mind Consulting Gabon, this panel brought together around the theme two prominent female figures of the media industry. They are Grace Lobessou, Head of Institutional Relations Africa at Canal + International and Denise Epotè, Journalist, Regional Director TV5 Africa.

The panel, which had among other objectives the promotion of a dynamic of change and the valorization of the new feminine roles, was freed from a great success with the present women. The exchanges also enriched the interventions and the participation of several women engaged in the promotion of women’s economic empowerment in Gabon and in the forty or so countries of Africa and the world represented in this 3rd WIA. These include Vanessa Adande, Chartered Accountant and WIA Ambassador in Gabon; Irene Essonne, Managing Partner of a major law firm; Justine Adande, founder of the urban-chic brand JUTU, WIA54 … The panel was also marked by the bright contributions of Edith Brou CEO of Africa Content Group and founder of BuzzyAfrica.com, on the impact of digital media, and share the intervention of the Algerian media specialist, Maya Zerrouki, CEO of Bendi Network.

For Seynabou Dia, CEO of Global Mind Consulting Gabon, working in partnership with the WIA and participating in the vision of its Founder – Aude De Thuin – would “evolve the narrative of the African woman in the media, valuing the actresses of the change, but also by breaking the codes with the ultimate aim of shaking up the still refractory mentalities “.

It therefore appears that Gabon is building a place of value in international meetings This partnership between Global Mind Consulting Gabon and WIA proves its desire to highlight gender parity and serves an innovative Africa.

Global Mind Consulting co-organized the panel “Role and Impact of the Media in Economic Development: What Place for Women?
