This international primary school will be the primary section of Enko La Gaiet\u00e9 Campus<\/strong><\/div>\n
\nThe African international schools network Enko Education announced today the launch of a new primary school in Yaound\u00e9, Cameroon. Following parents\u2019 demand, this will be the primary section of the famous international school Enko La Gaiet\u00e9 Campus, the first school of the Enko Education network.<\/p>\n

Since its inception in 2014, Enko La Gaiet\u00e9 Campus has sent its graduates to prestigious universities such as Yale College in the USA, African Leadership University in Rwanda and Ecole Polytechnique in France. The school wanted to offer more to parents regarding high-quality international education. \u201cBy offering a cr\u00e8che and a primary section that are also international, Enko La Gaiet\u00e9 Campus will allow kids to acquire and build a solid knowledge base to increase learners\u2019 chances to get into the university of their dreams,\u201d explained Mrs Justine Nkontchou, founder of the Complexe Scolaire International La Gaiet\u00e9, Enko La Gaiet\u00e9 Campus\u2019 partner.<\/p>\n

The primary school will be located in the district of Miniprix Bastos, not far from the current secondary school, and will offer the Cambridge international primary curriculum, with English as the language of instruction. The school will open from cr\u00e8che to Class 3 in the first year, and then progressively open Class 4 to Class 6.<\/p>\n

Cambridge Primary puts learners on an exciting educational journey, setting out what they should be able to do at each stage of their primary education. It develops young learners who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. This programme will be the ideal preparation for secondary school. Enko La Gaiet\u00e9 Campus offers the Cambridge curriculum from Form 1 to 5, leading to the IGCSE certification, and the two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Lower and Upper 6th, leading to the world\u2019s most recognized and sought-after qualification for university admissions: the International Baccalaureate.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe program will be taught in English, yet designed for non-English speakers: students will progressively develop their fluency in English, thanks to Enko Education\u2019s tailored learning pedagogy\u201d, explained Mr Bamidele Akinbo, Head of Enko La Gaiet\u00e9 Campus. \u201cIndeed, in classes never exceeding 24 students, children will follow a high-quality personalised education and make use of new technologies to enhance their learning experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEnko La Gaiet\u00e9 has been establishing itself as an institution of note in Cameroon and Central Africa for the past 5 years. In 2015 the school received IB accreditation, becoming the first IB World School in Central Africa.
