The Cape VII congress and exhibition of the African Organization of Petroleum Producers, to be held from April 2 to 5 in Malabo, is expected to bring together the top officials of the oil and gas sector, the main ministers of energy of the continent and international political leaders.<\/p>\n<p>President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea and Gabriel Mbaga Obiang Lima, Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons, will speak at the seventh summit of the African Petroleum Producing Countries (APPO CAPE VII), scheduled to open on April 2 in Malabo .<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf APPO Secretary-General Mahaman Laouan Gaya and Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, Nigeria&#8217;s Minister of Petroleum Resources, will brief on the fundamental reforms of the African Organization of Petroleum Producers.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Similarly, Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo, Secretary General of OPEC; Dr Sun Xiansheng, Secretary General of the International Energy Forum and HE Yury Sentyurin, Secretary General of the Forum for Gas Exporting Countries (GECF) will speak at APPO CAPE VII<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf APPO CAPE VII should see the participation of more than 50 African oil ministries, national oil companies and private companies as exhibitors and sponsors.<\/p>\n<p>The event will focus on policy reforms, Africa&#8217;s influence on the geopolitics of energy, and strengthening cooperation among African countries. In total, the conference will bring together more than 20 African governments, more than a dozen national oil companies and more than 50 exhibitors and sponsors.<\/p>\n<p>Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, President of the African Petroleum Producers Organization and Minister of State for Petroleum of the Republic of Nigeria, will outline the fundamental reforms of the APPO and its goal of creating a pool of African oil producers on the international scene. .
