Financial assistance following a decree by the President of the Republic Paul Biya, empowering the Minister of Economy, Planning and Spatial Planning to sign with the International Development Association (IDA), a subsidiary of the Bank world, a credit agreement in this direction. Financial resources to cover the three main components.<\/p>\n<p>Component 1 is reserved for the financing of the technical assistance needed to select and develop a large hydroelectric site on the Sanaga using a public-private partnership (PPP) model whose private partner will be recruited on a competitive basis. It is a question for the initiators of the project, to involve all the skills in order to give themselves the means necessary for its realization.<\/p>\n<p>In this perspective, Component 2 will contribute substantially to strengthening the Government&#8217;s capacity to fulfill its responsibilities during the construction of the Nachtigal Hydropower Project with a capacity of 420 Megawatts (MW) on the Sanaga River.
