In an effort to maximize revenue in the public purse, the General Directorate of Stabilization and Equalization Funds has set its sights on a system of geolocation and controls.<\/p>\n<p>A few months after the establishment of this governance mechanism, the first results are rather promising. Between the months of June 2018 and December 2018, the State was able to achieve gains of the order of 391 million FCFA, only on the Libreville network. Through geolocation, sales of petroleum products have been on an upward trend.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources, several illegal fuel sale points exist along Gabonese roads. It is a question of completely eradicating this phenomenon, to reduce it to its simplest form.
