This project will be funded to the tune of $ 784.4 million by the global institution.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;$ 359.7 million is already available, or 46%,&#8221; said Conille who remains &#8220;confident&#8221; by 2023 for the rest.<\/p>\n<p>The project provides assistance in several areas defined in the priorities through the National Development Plan, (PND 2018-2027), such as Equitable Education, Health, Economic Development, Empowerment of Women and Youth , peacebuilding, governance, gender equality, environment, food security, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Burundi&#8217;s National Development Plan is a strategic orientation document for a period of 10 years.
