Congo Business Network, Legal Tech Africa, and Tribune Justice are organizing an online event on February 16, 2019 on Cisco WebEx from 18:00 to 20:00 Paris time. The theme of this event is: \u201cLegal Tech: Its Advantages for Success in Business in Africa.”<\/b><\/p>\n

The objective of this session is to bring together professionals and entrepreneurs who have experience in business in the diaspora and in Africa, and who can share knowledge and experience in the legal tech sector. \u00a0Speakers will give important information to participants so that investors, institutions, SMEs and startups can be better informed about the best way to do business in Africa using technology in the delivery and consumption of legal services.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the program, Noel K. Tshiani, president of Agere Global, based in New York; St\u00e9phane Engueleguele, associate director at Dike Avocats, based in Paris; Gibran Freitas, co-founder of Legal Tech Africa, based in Paris; Junior Luyindula, CEO of Avocats.cd, based in Kinshasa; Ghislain Kuitchoua, managing director at Tribune Justice, based in Douala; Youssouf Ballo, CEO of Legafrik, based in Abidjan; Walid Ghanemi, CEO of Legal Doctrine, based in Algiers; and Ruddy Mukwamu, CEO of Pluritone, based in Johannesburg, will speak on topics related to legal tech and its advantages for business success in Africa.<\/span><\/p>\n

Partners and sponsors of this event include Vodacom Congo, Financial Afrik, Ingenious City, MaxiCash, Silikon Bantu and Movemeback, a London-based company that provides an online community for top professionals, entrepreneurs, leaders, thinkers and businesses interested in Africa. Ingenious City is an incubator platform and a co-working space that aims to bring together leading entrepreneurs in Congo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Congo is one of five African countries participating in this event alongside South Africa, Cameroon, C\u00f4te d’Ivoire and Algeria. \u00a0In fact, this country is gigantic by numbers. With 87 million inhabitants, according to McKinsey & Company’s statistics, it is the 4th most populous nation in Africa, behind Nigeria (190), Ethiopia (105) and Egypt (97). \u00a0Spread over 2.34 million square kilometers, Congo is the second largest country in Africa by size after Algeria.<\/span><\/p>\n

Online events have three goals: \u00a0<\/span>connect the diaspora to professionals and entrepreneurs in Africa; share knowledge and expertise in a sector of economic activity; and create real-time networking opportunities by video among participants on Cisco WebEx.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

This international event on legal tech is organized in collaboration with an experienced lawyer, St\u00e9phane Engueleguele, who will be the moderator and with the speakers. \u00a0The organizing team is led by Noel K. Tshiani, president of Agere Global. The organization process is made possible by LinkedIn Events, a new digital system for organizing professional events. \u00a0Congo Business Network has obtained exclusive access to this very advanced technology even if its accessibility is still limited until now to a very few entrepreneurs in San Francisco and New York.<\/span><\/p>\n
