The inauguration ceremony of the University of San Pedro was held on Friday, November 30, 2018 in the village of Goreke and Magne under the chairmanship of the head of government, Amadou Gon Coulibaly. This event is the first symbolic step for the construction of the future building.<\/p>\n

As part of the University Decentralization Program (PDU), the construction of the University of San Pedro is the subject of a public-private partnership with Envol Partenariats CI. According to the terms of the contract, the first students are expected in San Pedro in October 2020.<\/p>\n

The building will occupy 302 hectares of land and will include in the first phase:
\n-A heart of a grouping site: the lobby, the central school, the conference center, the first slice of shops and student living spaces (place of life and relaxation);
\n– A huge University Library;
\n-The Presidency and the central administration welcoming on its premises the
\nsecurity checkpoint;
\n-The medical center;
\n-A university restaurant;
\n– Amphitheatres, tutorial rooms and practical work
\n-Spaces of educational and research supervision;
\n-Spaces sports;
\n-A first part of the logistics premises;
\n– The central concierge of the CROU;
\n-A residence for teachers, researchers and staff
\nthe university;
\n– University residences for the 3000 students of the first phase.<\/p>\n
