Banque Atlantique Mali announces the launch of a program of electrification in solar energy in a rural environment as part of a citizen program. A convention was signed for this purpose on November 12 in Bamako with the Renewable Energies Agency of Mali (AER), technical partner of the program.<\/p>\n

Implemented as part of the citizens’ actions of the bank, a subsidiary of the Moroccan group Banque Centrale Populaire, the initiative concerns the financing of the supply and installation of solar photovoltaic systems in rural areas.<\/p>\n

In detail, it will be for Banque Atlantique, once the device installed, to ensure in each selected locality the electrification of health centers and elementary schools, the installation of solar street lights for public lighting, the supply of dryers and the installation of drinking water supply systems.<\/p>\n

“Through this partnership, Banque Atlantique is investing in the financing of a series of projects in Mali, with a view to linking people to basic social infrastructures, particularly in terms of drinking water and reliable, sustainable energy. environmentally friendly, thereby facilitating access to the health and education system, “the bank said in a statement.<\/p>\n

The first locality chosen for this program is Keni\u00e9bougou, a village of about 1,000 people, located 35 km from the city of S\u00e9gou.<\/p>\n
