LafargeHolcim Ivory Coast continues its campaign of support for employment with the release of a new class of masons trained as part of its program of assistance to professional reintegration called “70 masons”. 28 young people who have just completed their apprenticeship received their parchment on October 19th.<\/p>\n

LarfargeHolcim gave them, during the ceremony organized in their honor, in addition to end-of-training diplomas, starter kits. These are personal protective equipment (helmet and construction boot) and a mason toolbox (trowel, plumb bob, bricklayer’s square, etc.), to allow them to seize the immediate opportunities that arise. will present themselves to them in their new careers.<\/p>\n

Launched in May 2017, this job integration program, which aims to train young people under 35 in the field of masonry, in a modern and rewarding environment, is sponsored by LafargeHolcim C\u00f4te d’Ivoire in collaboration with the NGO ADESC (Association for Social and Cultural Economic Development). And since the beginning of the year, 72 young people have benefited from this training with this latest promotion.<\/p>\n

Note that of these 72 individuals, 27 are active on different construction sites and the others have joined together in a cooperative to offer their services on construction sites. LafargeHolcim C\u00f4te d’Ivoire thus intends through this program to contribute to the issue of employment in the country.<\/p>\n

A subsidiary of the LafargeHolcim Group, world leader in building materials, LafargeHolcim C\u00f4te d’Ivoire is the producer of “Aries Cement”.
