As a reference organization for training and certification of professionals in the sector in Africa, CAVIE organized an international seminar on strategic intelligence and economic intelligence specific to African markets from 9 to 12 October 2018 in Ouagadougou. 35 Sankara promo professionals have been certified.<\/p>\n

On the initiative of Honor\u00e9 Kietyeta, Representative of CAVIE Burkina, the session held in the capital of Burkina Faso from 9 to 12 October 2018 saw the participation of 35 professionals from Burkina Faso, C\u00f4te d’Ivoire, Togo, Senegal and La France. Public and private actors from the state administration, banks, telecoms, mines, media and investment promotion agencies, they have been involved in questioning, collecting, processing, the rapid and secure analysis of economic intelligence and its transformation into a decision support tool in competitive jurisdictions.<\/p>\n

In the opinion of several participants now certified, the CAVIE has managed the feat of ensuring the sovereignty of Africa in terms of economic intelligence. Powers strategies, information operations, influence methods, online collection techniques, security in cyberspace and human intelligence, on African markets, are all topics covered, practical exercises in support, by three international speakers experienced members: Guy Gweth, CAVIE Executive Chairman, Hugo Zunzarren, CAVIE Representative in Spain and Colonel Major Mahamadi Aouba, Honorary Member of CAVIE.<\/p>\n

In three years of existence, the CAVIE has established itself as the reference institution in Africa for level 1, 2 of 3 certifying courses, short sessions, specialized in association with Knowdys Consulting Group, leader group of consulting in economic intelligence, business intelligence and due diligence, as well as for degree-level training. Since 2018, the Center has been empowered to issue the MBA ESG title in economic intelligence and African markets, in partnership with the Ecole Sup\u00e9rieure de Gestion de Paris.<\/p>\n

According to the statutes of the non-governmental organization strongly inspired by the thought of Captain Thomas Sankara, the CAVIE’s mission is, on the one hand, to promote good intelligence and intelligence practices in Africa, as well as their implications for the competitiveness of the region and, on the other hand, to help interested parties to better understand the African market in order to carry out secure commercial operations.<\/p>\n

In a methodical and continuous way, the Center ensures a social, political, legal, financial, economic, technological watch in 12 key sectors of the economy of the black continent: agribusiness, insurance, aeronautics, automobile, education, energies, banks, BTP, pharmaceutical industry, telecoms and strategic raw materials. Actors, standards, movements and key figures are thus deciphered 24\/7 for the benefit of decision-makers.<\/p>\n
