Due to this imbalance of the economy of the sector which harms the interests of the consumers, the President of the Republic, after having heard the Council of Ministers, he decided to repeal the decree aimed to count from monday 24 september 2018 at 00 o&#8217;clock.<\/p>\n<p>The text emphasizes, moreover, that the government reaffirms its vision to make the sector of the digital economy, a vector of development and growth of the Beninese economy and announces to the Net surfers that to count from Monday 24 September 2018 at 00h , the new rates announced by the Operators are repealed and the old ones remain in force until further notice.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that the decree just removed the Head of State imposed a levy of 5% on all services related to calls, sms and the Internet.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pdfprnt-buttons pdfprnt-buttons-post pdfprnt-top-bottom-left\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Patrice Talon announced on Saturday, September 22, his decision to cancel the tax imposed on communication services following a meeting with industry players.
