Anouar Hassoune worked for two international rating agencies before co-founding WARA, at the call of Seydina Tandian.<\/p>\n<p>Anouar served from 2008 to 2011 as Vice President of Moody&#8217;s Investors Service where he provided financial ratings for Islamic and sovereign banks in a number of emerging markets. Between 2001 and 2008, Anouar was an Associate Director with another rating agency, Standard &amp; Poor&#8217;s, where he helped broaden rating coverage for Middle Eastern issuers and deepen analytical methods and techniques applicable to institutions. Islamic financial institutions and sovereigns of this region.<\/p>\n<p>From 2012 to 2015, Anouar was also responsible for Islamic research, strategy and finance for the Middle East with The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFG (BTMU) in Dubai.
