{"id":461798,"date":"2018-08-10T11:08:22","date_gmt":"2018-08-10T10:08:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.financialafrik.com\/?p=461798"},"modified":"2018-08-10T11:08:22","modified_gmt":"2018-08-10T10:08:22","slug":"equatorial-guinea-ready-to-connect-to-kribi-cable-landing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.financialafrik.com\/en\/2018\/08\/10\/equatorial-guinea-ready-to-connect-to-kribi-cable-landing\/","title":{"rendered":"Equatorial Guinea ready to connect to Kribi cable landing"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"pdfprnt-buttons pdfprnt-buttons-post pdfprnt-top-bottom-left\"><\/div><p>After signing a memorandum of understanding, on September 29, 2017, with the consortium in charge of Cameroon-Brazil submarine fiber optic cable, formed by China Unicom and the incumbent Cameroon Telecommunications (Camtel), for to become a member, Equatorial Guinea has just released an envelope of 18 billion CFA francs to connect to fiber optics from Cameroon.<\/p>\n<p>An agreement has been signed for this purpose between the company responsible for the management of telecommunications infrastructure in Equatorial Guinea (GITGE) and CAMTEL.
