These contracts won by the local subsidiary, a joint venture with the Bollor\u00e9 Group, encompass the design, operation and maintenance of advertising street furniture for a contractual period of 20 years at no cost to both entities.<\/p>\n<p>In Cocody, JCDecaux C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire will install a hundred street furniture. These include &#8220;90 street furniture for information (MUPI) and public health automatic maintenance, which will be the first of its kind installed in French-speaking Africa,&#8221; said the group in a statement on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>With SOTRA, the contract covers the implementation of 300 advertising bus shelters and 300 stop signs, as well as the advertising of 500 buses (nearly 2,000 buses targeted by 2020), 12 bus stations and 4 lagoon stations. .<\/p>\n<p>These contracts will enable the &#8220;deployment of aesthetic and high-quality urban advertising furniture that will contribute to improving the quality of life in Abidjan,&#8221; said the French group, which is eyeing the largest advertising market in the WAEMU zone.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pdfprnt-buttons pdfprnt-buttons-post pdfprnt-top-bottom-left\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JCDecaux, the world leader in outdoor advertising, signed on 23 and 24 July two contracts with respectively SOTRA, the abidjan company of public transport, and the upmarket of Cocody, in Abidjan.
