Announced this Thursday, July 12, the envelope will serve to support the country in its democratic process.<\/p>\n<p>These include financial institutions including the World Bank (WB), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), under the auspices of European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy, Johannes Hahn.<\/p>\n<p>According to the donors, 2.5 billion euros are programmed for 2018-2019 in the form of loans and grants while the rest would be granted once Tunisia succeeds in accomplishing and implementing its reforms.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Tunisian President B\u00e9ji Ca\u00efd Essebsi asked for &#8220;more support from financial partners in light of the delicacy of the situation, especially the terrorist threat.&#8221;<br \/>\nIt is the public enterprises, the social funds and the subsidy system among others that will benefit from this budget support.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that Tunisia is currently experiencing a steady and gradual improvement in the economic situation, a recovery in tourism and an increase in exports.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pdfprnt-buttons pdfprnt-buttons-post pdfprnt-top-bottom-left\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tunisia will benefit from 5.5 billion euros from several international donors.
