Yaound\u00e9 – Citi is pleased to announce the appointment of Gordon Acha as Citi Country Officer (CCO) for Cameroon.<\/p>\n

Gordon will report to Citi Cameroon Board of Directors chaired by Khady Dior Ndiaye, Citi Country Officer for C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire and Citi Business Head for French West & Central Africa.<\/p>\n

Gordon has over 23 years of Institutional Banking experience covering the United States, Cameroon, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, Gabon and South Africa. He joined Citi Cameroon in 1998 and served in a number of roles including Relationship Manager, Global Relationship Banker and Financial Institutions Head, Corporate and Commercial Banking Head. In 2009, Gordon joined Banque Atlantique in C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire as Group Corporate Bank Head, where he oversaw the corporate bank business in West and Central Africa. Gordon returned to Citi in 2010 as Citi Country Officer C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire and subsequently managed the Citi Gabon franchise. He went on to serve as the Head of Non-Presence Countries (NPC) and Correspondent Banking Group for Citi Africa, and then worked in North America with the Citi ICG Utility Group as the Global Head for the Business Quality Assurance Team.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Citi, Gordon worked in financial services firms in Boston USA including, New England Financial and Investors Bank & Trust.<\/p>\n

Gordon holds a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts and an M.B.A. from Suffolk University in Boston.<\/p>\n

Citi has been in Cameroon since 1998 and continues to view the country and region as critical to its global franchise. Citi is present in 16 countries across Africa.<\/p>\n
