The Insurance and Social Welfare Control Authority (ACAPS) is organizing, jointly with the Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii), the International Association
\nInsurance Supervisors (IAIS) and the Toronto Center, a training program in
\nInclusive insurance for insurance supervisors from 18 to 22 June in Rabat.<\/p>\n

This training falls within the framework of the regional cooperation policy and
\nconducted by ACAPS. It is intended for executives and managers of
\nAfrican supervisory authorities involved in the regulation and control of
\ninsurance sector.<\/p>\n

15 countries from the African continent are taking part in this regional seminar, which aims to
\nto enable participants to consider topics related to:
\n\u2022 the importance of adopting a proportionate approach to regulation and supervision to improve access to insurance services and ensure adequate protection for low-income consumers;
\n\u2022 Recent practices and case studies of selected jurisdictions that have advanced the field of microinsurance.<\/p>\n
