Endowed with a loan of $ 263.7 million, a loan from the African Development Bank (ADB), the project will help relieve traffic between two major poles of activities and beyond facilitate the link between the parties north and south of the Ivorian capital.<\/p>\n<p>With around two million inhabitants, Yopougon, Abidjan&#8217;s most populous municipality, is home to the country&#8217;s largest industrial area &#8211; a new, larger area is under construction in a nearby city. The Plateau, the economic center of the country, opens access to the port area and the southern part of Abidjan.<\/p>\n<p>The project includes the construction of a 1.4 km structure, including a 0.794 km viaduct over Banco Bay, and 7 km of access roads and ramps. According to the technical file, this is a large-scale project that will leave Yopougon, span the Bay of banco to sub-district &#8220;Boribana&#8221; (a ramp is expected to reach the Boulevard Crossroads Peace \/ Sebroko, in the direction of Plateau) in the commune of Att\u00e9coub\u00e9, will extend until the famous boulevard Nangui Abrogoua in Adjam\u00e9 (a tunnel is planned) before finishing at the level of the zone of Ind\u00e9ni\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>The work should be launched in June or July for a period of 30 months.<\/p>\n<p>China&#8217;s largest construction group and one of the largest companies in the sector worldwide, CSCEC has operated major infrastructure projects in Africa, mainly in Algeria.
