After the “Intercultures and Peace” in 2017, the association #JamSalam, organizes on May 4, 2018 a workshop with young people followed by a conference on “the value of cultures in entrepreneurship” in the region of Al Haouz .<\/p>\n

By devoting the theme of this edition to “Cultures and Entrepreneurship”, the Al Haouz Festival (scheduled from May 3 to 7, 2018) wishes to focus on the youth of the region, reposition it as an actress and propel it to new fields of possible.<\/p>\n

Successful entrepreneurs, committed to the South-South dialogue, Ms. Nadia Salah, Director of the Eco-M\u00e9dias group, administrator of the #JamSalam Association for Intercultures and Peace, Mr. Amadou Diaw, President of the Saint Louis Forum and founder of the group of private schools ISM (Senegal) and Mr Thami Ghorfi, President of the group ESCA, School of Management (Morocco) – 1st class in French-speaking Africa – will carry the debate, moderated by Mouna Kadiri, Secretary General and co- founder of the association, this Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Fairmont Royal Palm of Marrakech at 16h. This after having led a workshop on “the opportunity to undertake” with young people in the Al Haouz region earlier in the morning.<\/p>\n

How to impact on entrepreneurial capacity, value creation? How to capture the value of intercultures for new development corridors?<\/p>\n

New ways of developing projects, new areas of deployment open to young people and generations of different cultures of the African continent. How can young people be involved?<\/p>\n

#JamSalam capitalizes on the process initiated in 2012 in favor of intercultural dialogue creating values \u200b\u200band development. #JamSalam is a platform for reflection and exchange, for the promotion of living together and serving the most vulnerable communities.<\/p>\n

#JamSalam embodies advocacy for the deployment of intercultural policies, North and South, at least equivalent to those deployed in defense policies.<\/p>\n

This initiative was born from the first experiment conducted in 2012, bringing together Moroccan and Senegalese artists, in Saint-Louis of Senegal, at the mouth of the Senegal River, as part of the Biennale des Arts in Dakar. From the banks of the River, a dialogue has been born, never interrupted to this day. This dialogue resulted in contemporary, future-oriented artistic creations, as well as donations to the Saint Louis for Africa Foundation for young people in need. It is in Morocco, in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, that this dialogue continues, through the workshop with young people and this conference, hosted by the Al Haouz Festival.<\/p>\n
