It is against this situation that France through AFD has decided to support the Guinean government to support it in a global program of impetus for the promotion of investment and institutional strengthening of the sector. drinking water through a set of actions initiated since 2013.<\/p>\n<p>This \u20ac 30 million financing, in the form of a highly concessional loan to the Republic of Guinea, will, according to Guinean officials, improve the commercial and technical performance of the Guinea Water Company ( SEG) and secondly to maintain the industrial tool in Conakry and inland.<\/p>\n<p>On the side of AFD, the director pointed out that the present convention proposes to reduce leaks and to increase the sales and the recovery on Conakry by deploying, agency by agency, a program already tested on three commercial agencies of the company Guinean waters (Kaloum on own funds, Matam financed by BM and Dixinn with AFD financing).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The project will start on the agencies of the municipality of Matoto and later expand to the town of Ratoma.
