The project for the first deep-sea port in Mauritania will be carried out very soon, towards the end of 2018, in the Mauritanian economic capital.
\nThis announcement was made Monday, April 2 by the president of the Nouadhibou Free Zone, Mohamed Ould Daf, on the sidelines of the second edition of the investment forum held in Nouadhibou in the presence of Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz.<\/p>\n

Indeed, according to Oul Daf, the feasibility study of this project was economically conclusive and the future port will have powerful technical characteristics.
\nThe new port infrastructure will have 18 meters of commercial wharf, explains the president of the ZFN for whom the future work will “radically change the commercial chessboard of the sub-region, and enhance the competitiveness of the essential sectors of the Mauritanian economy such as fishing, mining and trade.<\/p>\n

Still, according to Ould Daf, everything is set up to allow the rapid realization of this strategic infrastructure that will contribute to the affirmation of the role of Nouadhibou as a multi-purpose service platform in the sub-region.<\/p>\n

Located at the crossroads of maritime routes between West Africa, the Maghreb, Europe and America, the city of Nouadhibou is home to the main economic activities of the country.<\/p>\n
