Background and Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In February 2025<\/strong>, the Association of Banking and Financial Institution Lawyers (AJBEF)<\/strong> shared the documents from its 21st Annual Conference<\/strong>, held in Abidjan in November 2024<\/strong>.
These meetings resulted in the drafting of a set of resolutions and recommendations<\/strong>, which were closely monitored<\/strong> throughout the year by a dedicated follow-up committee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A New Edition: Looking Back and Moving Forward<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 22nd Annual Conference<\/strong>, scheduled to take place in Ouagadougou from November 25 to 27, 2025<\/strong>, marks a turning point<\/strong> for the association.
This edition will provide an opportunity to:<\/p>\n

    Report on the progress<\/strong> made following the recommendations of the previous edition;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Review the twenty-five-year journey<\/strong> of the AJBEF;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    And project into the next quarter century<\/strong>, focused on gaining recognition for the profession of \u201cBanking Lawyer\u201d<\/strong> as a distinct and specialized field.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Since the 21st edition<\/strong>, the AJBEF has introduced a major shift in format<\/strong>, placing banking lawyers<\/strong> at the heart of discussions.<\/p>\n

      Several participants took on roles as Masters of Ceremony<\/strong>, while others served as speakers alongside distinguished experts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
