Placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and orchestrated by Rahal Event, the International Exhibition of Hotel, Restaurant, Pastry, Bakery and Food Professionals (CREMAI) makes its comeback for its tenth edition, after a 4-year interruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. This important event will be held at the prestigious Mohammed VI Exhibition Park in El Jadida, Morocco, from May 17 to 21, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the slogan “Reboosting the recovery of the RHC sector”, this edition is part of the dynamics of the initiatives to revitalize the tourism sector and its various branches. It focuses on the revival of investments and the development of human capital to stimulate the recovery of the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This tenth edition, the flagship event of the hospitality sector in Africa, will feature more than 750 famous brands and will offer a competition program bringing together a hundred handpicked professionals from across the Kingdom and the continent. The event aims to consolidate Morocco’s position as a commercial hub for the RHC sector in Africa and to establish the country as a bridge of exchange and enrichment between the Kingdom’s gastronomic heritage and that of the continent, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The CREMAI, already a real springboard for gastronomy enthusiasts, will offer a plethora of opportunities and prestigious competitions. From training institutions (Les Espoirs du Maroc) to competitions between starred chefs from Moroccan and African palaces, the event promises to be grandiose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Expected highlights include the African Bakery Cup, the African and Middle Eastern Chefs’ Cup, as well as the African selections for the African Pastry Cup and the prestigious Bocuse d’Or Africa. The CREMAI competitions lead to prestigious world finals, such as the Bocuse d’Or Monde, the World Pastry Cup and the World Bakery Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, Rahal Event announces the launch of the “Best Artisan of Morocco” award, aiming to highlight the excellence of Moroccan work and to develop a better sector performance. This title will offer the Kingdom’s artisans a high level of recognition and will allow them to reference themselves and to promote their know-how.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
